We are delighted to announce the appointment of Angela Paparizo as the newest member of our Board of Directors.
Angela brings more than 20 years of experience in Public Administration, a Master’s degree in History and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. She holds a Cultural Planning Certificate with the University of British Columbia and has completed the Executive Municipal Leadership Program at the Ivey School of Business.
Angela has had several Director positions with the City of Tirana and is currently the Manager of Arts and Culture with the City of Burlington. Her experience and passion for arts and culture has helped her successfully manage and implement various arts and culture policies, programs and events. She is a dedicated leader of the City’s Public Art Program and the Burlington Arts and Culture Fund.
Angela constantly cultivates and manages relationships with the arts and culture community. She currently serves in the Board of Directors of RTO3 Regional Tourism Association, Board of Directors of Burlington Performing Arts Centre and is Co-chair of Halton Newcomer Strategy Steering Committee – Local Immigration Partnership.
