About the event

We are pleased to inform you that on 26 May, 2022  15:00 CET Albanian Canadian Development Alternative in collaboration with the National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation will be hosting the webinar  "Digitization and Indexing of Academic Journals, a Growing Reality"

In most developed countries, there is an increase in the efficiency of support for scientific research by respective governments. Scientific research forms the basis of higher education and learning, serving as an indicator of innovation and teaching quality. Universities are considered the highest and most suitable institutions for the development of scientific research due to the direct link between scientific research and the teaching process.

We are honored to have His Excellency, the Ambassador of Albania to Canada, Mr. Ermal Muça, and the Deputy Minister of Education and Sports, the esteemed Mrs. Albana Tole, in attendance at this webinar. Additionally, we are pleased to have representatives from Crossref and Prof. John Willinsky, Associate Dean of Student Affairs at Stanford University and the Founder of the Public Knowledge Project (PKP), as the keynote speakers, discussing the benefits of indexing academic publications.
